Drivers and documents
The primary and additional drivers must be at least 25, hold a valid Category B licence and have at least 3 years of driving experience.
At collection, a valid identity document and the original driving licence must be presented.
Reservation, period and payment
The minimum online rental period is 5 days. Requests for 20 or more days are handled as individual quotations.
Online payment covers the full rental price and selected services, excluding the security deposit provided at collection.
Collection and return
The vehicle is handed over after document checks and signing the rental agreement and handover report.
It must be returned at the agreed place and time with the same fuel level, allowing for normal wear and tear.
Permitted use
The vehicle must be used carefully, for its intended purpose and in accordance with the law, manufacturer instructions and agreement.
Travel outside Bulgaria requires prior written approval.
Insurance, damage and incidents
Compulsory third-party liability insurance is included. Other cover and the deposit are described in the specific offer and agreement.
After an incident, make the scene safe, notify authorities where necessary and contact RentAuto immediately.
Fuel, fines and expenses
Fuel, tolls outside the reservation, parking, fines and penalties incurred during the rental are the renter’s responsibility.
The customer is responsible for lost keys, documents, equipment and accessories according to the actual cost and agreement.
Additional services and delivery
An additional driver, child seat, navigation, Wi-Fi, delivery and other services are subject to availability and confirmation.
An address charge may include a base amount and a per-kilometre price.
Personal data and driving licence
Personal data is processed for reservations, eligibility checks, payment, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
Details of data categories, access and deletion are published in the privacy and licence-processing notices.
Changes and cancellation
The change, cancellation and refund terms for a specific reservation are provided before payment and in the confirmation.
Final cancellation and refund rules are configurable and are not published as a fixed promise before approval.
Contact and applicable law
Bulgarian law applies. Disputes are first addressed through good-faith negotiation without limiting consumers’ mandatory rights.
